Church & Dwight’s Second Quarter Sales Rise Nearly 13%

Church & Dwight Co., Princeton, NJ, reported second quarter sales, excluding Armkel and other affiliates, increased 12.6% to $258.5 million from $229.6 million last year. This increase is primarily due to the Arrid antiperspirant and Lambert Kay pet care product lines acquired from Carter-Wallace late in 2001.
